Someday..

"I dream of being a surgeon."

"I'm gonna marry her one day."

"Someday, I'll definitely visit Europe."

Everyone has their own wonderful deams and desires. These dreams had been with us for as long as we could remember. One could simply be dozing off in class one day, imagining himself munching on a slice of pepperoni pizza in the most famous Pizzeria in Italy.

"Hmm, I want to go there someday.." - a phrase which is no stranger to everyone who call themselves humans.

However, at some point in our age, reality sets in. Responsibilities begin to pile, one on top another. And these dreams of ours, slip further and further back into our minds. Realists never fantasize. Or so we thought. What we don't know, these dreams were never gone. Instead, the lie deep within our subconscious, resurfacing when we least expect it. And when it does, we'll begin to think again, "Someday, I'll make my dreams come true." But too bad. "Someday" never comes.

I once read a quotation, but I couldn't remember who made it. He said, "A good plan violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week." I guess this applies to each and every one of us as we go through our lives. Our biggest dreams and desires are still alive, no matter how far we push them inside. And these dreams will return, as soon as we make them our present-day priority. :)

Our destiny is too wonderful to delay. Make the commitment, take the steps. Do what it takes. ;)

Ps. I just felt like writing in the midst of studying. Pandai2 lah en masing2 nak faham. Hehe. Good luck for the midterms everyone.

Break-up

Woah, hold your horses guys! Jangan korang berani lompat tram and ingat aku dah single mingle pulak. :P

The real story is, I've "broken up" with my old roomate, En Abd Haq. Hehehe. Kami dah tak sehaluan sebilik. Ngeh ngeh ngeh. This is old news actually. It is nearly a month now since Haq and I got a room of our own.

Did anyone get lost? Ok fine, let me bring you guys up to speed.

Gini cite dia.

Our house has 4 rooms. Awe ngan Pokyan dapat satu bilik masing2. Aku ngan Haq ni pulak kongsi satu lagi bilik (because there's 2 beds, you see). Bilik satu lagi tu pulak, lebih kurang macam bilik study lah yang kurang diberikan perhatian. Pokyan je kadang2 study kat situ.

Soo, on one fine day, my roomate Haq said, "Jo handsome, jom beli plasma TV nak?"

I answered, "Agak2 ah weh, ko nak watpe dengan tv tu? Tengok arab gelek?"

"Alah, kite beli ah Xbox ke, PS3 ke," Haq mengomel lagi. "Kita bukak ah bilik satu lagi tu, masukkan katil ko kat sane."

Hmm. Seronok gak. Hehehe. So we ended up moving the bed and all the furnitures into the study room, which is now my room. ;)

I know the quality's poor but what can you expect from a mobile phone camera, right? :P Too bad I didn't take a picture of the room before moving the furnitures out.

Oh wait, I think I made an entry about my aparment before. Read it here. Check out the "dining hall pic". ;)

And as for Haq, no, he has not bought the plasma tv, yet. But guess what he got instead?

Tak caye? Datang ah rumah. ;)

Random 2

Out of random, I felt like checking my Nuffnang account. I myself rarely click on the banner due to the lack of advertisement but deep inside, I do hope every single blogger/reader who drops by to click the banners. :P

But guess what? Remember the NZN banner I told you guys about? Apparently it was only there for a "short" while but hey, I made my first income by blogging. ;)

25 cents. Lol!

The Letter

Today, I was given a huge responsibility. One which is difficult to bear. But it had to be done.

I was required to deliver letters to a few students, some of whom are my close friends. This is THE letter, which no scholar wants to receive. A warning letter, warning them, "You have to buck up, or that's it."

To those few unfortunate friends of mine, a warning is but a warning. Take actions, and tell yourselves, "I'm not letting it go to Strike Three". Look for help if you ever need them. Ramai yang boleh tolong. Hell, even my room's open if you guys choose to ask.

Step it up. Everyone does it, so can you.

"It takes more courage to reveal insecurities than to hide them, more strength to relate to people than to dominate them, more ‘manhood’ to abide by thought-out principles rather than blind reflex. Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles and an immature mind.

Random 1

"The distance is so great between how we live and how we ought to
live, that he who abandons what is done for what ought to be done,
learns his ruin rather than his preservation; because a man who
wants to make a profession of goodness in everything is bound to
come to ruin among so many who are not good."
The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli

To be honest, I've yet to understand fully what this statement really means. But what I've understood is that, we can only be that much contented by our life, the way we live life etc. We always imagine, "What if I were..?" or "What would have happened if..?" One always reflect themselves to be much more than where they are at the moment, putting them down in our 'To-do list'. However so, abandoning our present for "the better life" has to be done periodically. We would not want to be at the horrible side of life if plans take a wrong turn. To do this, we need to learn how to not be good, how to be bad at things, how to get people to shout, "You suck!", so that we can educate and prevent ourselves from making that mistake.

Preserve who we truly are, use the knowledge we have but not as necessity dictates.

"The first thing to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want"
