Time

Salam wrm readers, and may you guys be in the kindest of spirit.

"Time is Gold"

Ever since we were kids, let it be at home or in school, most of us have heard of the mentioned phrase countless of times. I remember once when I was in SSG, there was this competition where we were required to pick a phrase and illustrate them in drawings. So, since "Time is Gold" was the only saying I know then, I drew a clock and some gold bars. Haha. Just so you know, I'm horrible at drawings.

However, back then, when I was that young, I never really grasped the meaning of time. Or should I say, the VALUE of time. What do kids now about time, right? All that we had in our simple minds can be easily defined into one word - fun.

But, as we grow older, life begins to unfold itself. Responsibilities start to mount, one on top of another. It is now that we finally know the true meaning of time, its value, together with the fact that, time waits for no man. Some are fortunate because they're able to always, for MOST of the time, be ahead of their work. All of it can be achieved yes, by proper planning and perseverance. On the other side of the world however, some may try but find it hard, and there are also some, who can't even be bothered. So, ask yourselves, where do you stand?

Here's something which I would like to share with everyone. I hope you'll see it like I did.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.

And remember, time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
